Welcome to AlertHer! Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the AlertHer app (the "App") provided by [Your Company Name] ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Account Creation and User Information

To use the App, you must sign up for an account by providing a valid phone number and email address. By submitting this information, you confirm that you have provided accurate and up-to-date details. Your phone number and email address will be verified during the registration process to ensure authenticity.

We take your privacy seriously. For more information on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

2. Report and User Content

AlertHer allows users to submit report regarding their experiences with various phone numbers, based on their interactions. Please note the following:

  • Non-Anonymity of Reports: All reports are linked to the user's account, and the username will be visible to other users. This ensures transparency in the report process.

  • Posting Reportss: Users are allowed to post only one report per phone number per day. Once a report is submitted, users can edit it within 24 hours but cannot delete it.

  • Content Moderation: Comment are subject to moderation. Reports must be honest, respectful, and based on personal experience

  • Do not include names, addresses, social media links, or any personally identifying information

  • Do not submit defamatory, threatening, hateful, or abusive content

  • Do not post false or misleading information

  • If a report is deemed inappropriate, misleading, or violates the guidelines, it may be removed by the App administrators. We reserve the right to disable user accounts in violation of our policies.

  • Categories of Reports: In an upcoming update, we will introduce categorization for report, such as

  • Green : Positive Experience

  • Light green : Neutral Experience

  • Yellow : Missed Appointment

  • Red : Unverified landlord, Agency or Othersharassment, to enhance the clarity of the review system and improve user experience.

3.User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content of your reviews and any interactions on the App. You agree not to post any content that is harmful, offensive, or violates applicable laws.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others.

4.Privacy and Security

We implement security measures to protect your personal information, including your phone number, email address and review data. We do not share your personal information without your consent, except as necessary to provide the services or as required by law.
AlertHer does not log or store previous versions of edited reviews; only the most recent version is visible to other users.


5.Admin Rights

Administrators have the right to review, remove, or modify any content, including reviews and user accounts, that violate these Terms and Conditions or are deemed inappropriate for any reason.

The decision to disable or terminate a user account due to violations will be made at the sole discretion of the AlertHer team.


6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.


7.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlertHer is not responsible for any damages, losses, or issues that arise from the use of the App, including but not limited to, user-generated content or third-party interactions.

9. ACCOUNT DELETION INSTRUCTIONS

We value your privacy and security. To ensure that only authorized users can delete their accounts, we have implemented a secure and straightforward verification process. Follow the steps below based on your account login type.

Steps to Delete Your Account

  1. Navigate to the Delete Account Page Go to the "Delete Account" page within the app.

  2. Verification Based on Login Type
    If You Log In with a Mobile Number: The system will trigger the Send OTP API, which will send a One-Time Password (OTP) to your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP in the dialogue box displayed on your screen.

Once submitted, the system will call the Verify OTP API to validate the OTP.

If the OTP is correct, your account deletion request will be processed.

If You Log In with an Email and Password: Enter your account password in the provided field.

The system will call the Password Verify API to validate the entered password.

If the password is correct, your account deletion request will be processed.

APIs Used in the Process

  1. Send OTP API Sends an OTP to your registered mobile number for verification.

  2. Verify OTP API – Validates the OTP entered by the user.

  3. Password Verify API – Validates the account password entered by the user.

Important Notes

This verification process ensures that only authorized users can delete their accounts, maintaining the security of your data.

If you face any issues during the deletion process, please contact our support team for assistance.

Once the account is deleted, all your data will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
